Forum

The Forum is the public discussion hub. Boards, threads, and a flat chronological reply list. Use it for meta talk, bug callouts the room should see, and crew recruitment chatter that is not a private PM.

Boards and posts

• Categories for different topics. Some boards may require a minimum rank to view or post: Ranks.
• Create threads and reply in a flat list. Quote another reply to keep the parent snippet without nested trees.
• Authors can edit their own unlocked threads and replies. Staff can still edit anything. There is no self-delete, because quotes would break.
• Posts use a rich text editor. The 10,000 character limit applies to the text you write. Formatting markup and GIF links do not count toward that cap. A reply can be just an image or Giphy GIF.
• Upload images or GIFs from the editor, insert a Giphy clip, and mention another player with @Name.
• React to a thread or reply, vote in category polls, and report a post to forum staff. Reports do not open a helpdesk ticket.
• Threads show a classic post card: author avatar, name, rank, post count, and join date on the left; message and signature on the right.
• Category thread lists use a compact table: thread title (with page jump links), reply count, and last poster (by Name with the time on the line below).
• Set a short forum signature on the Profile settings page. It appears under your community posts. Limits match classic forum software: a few lines of text, a small number of links, and at most one image capped at about 500×150 pixels.

Gang forums are separate and visible only to members of that gang. Public boards do not replace crew privacy.

Forum activity can count toward missions (sidebar daily / weekly). Claim rewards on the Missions page: Missions System.

Bugs that need a paper trail still go to Helpdesk - character name, what you were doing, browser.
