Blood Money Empire

Character Creation

One living character. Pick a name that sticks - and a city to start in.

Updated 3 weeks ago

One living character per account. Pick a name and a starting city. You begin with starter cash, full energy, and full health.

Your starting city is where you spawn - local shops, casino, players, and drug prices. Cities have different reward multipliers. You are not locked in: fly from the airport later (cash + cooldown). Wrong pick is inconvenient, not permanent.

Account credits are shared across every character on the account - including the next one after you die. Character progress is not: when this name dies, rank, cash, and gear go with it; credits stay. The old name stays on the grave.

This is step one. After you create, follow Mickey and earn first cash - see Getting Started. Tour detail: Onboarding Tutorials.

Choosing a name

Your name is how everyone in the empire knows you. Rules:

  • Between 2 and 32 characters.
  • Names are unique. No two living or dead characters can share a name, and capitalisation does not make a name different - if someone is already Tony, you cannot be TONY.
  • Staff and system names are reserved. Names like Admin, Moderator and System are blocked so nobody can pretend to be staff. This covers clever spellings too, so Syst3m, 4dm1n and Head Admin will all be refused.
  • Extra spaces are tidied up automatically, so Tony Soprano becomes Tony Soprano.

Ordinary names that merely happen to contain a reserved word are fine - Badminton and Modest Mike are perfectly acceptable.

Pick carefully: your name cannot be changed later. If your character dies and you start again, you are free to choose a new one, and your old name stays retired on your grave.
